According to several known Fortnite leakers, there will be numerous fan-favorite locations coming back for Season X. Though we already know about Moisty Palms and now Tilted Town, a plethora of others are supposedly following it. Epic Games told us at the beginning of the season that old locations would make their return. However, now that we’ve seen Tilted Town, how will these POIs play?
Today we’ll look at the full list of reported POIs making their way back to Fortnite. Fans of the early days of the game are sure to be excited.
Every leaked Fortnite POI that’s returning in Season X
Thanks to Fortnite leaker @HYPEX, we have our first look at previous Fortnite POIs that are coming back sometime during Season X. We have this information due to some challenges relating to the POIs being found in the game files.
Here are screenshots of those files, namedropping Moisty Mire, Risky Reels, Greasy Grove, and Anarchy Acres. All credit goes to HYPEX on Twitter.
In addition to these four POIs, Retail Row, Flush Factory, and Tomato Town are also within these files. The challenge that relates to the POIs requires players to spray either a car or truck. This could be a Battle Pass mission or a challenge relating to the specific location whenever it arrives.
However, though the files use the original location names, chances are they will be altered. Both Tilted Town and the rumored Moisty Palms might look like the old POI but have a twist to them. The same will most likely apply to every new spin-off that comes.
How will these POIs play?
If Tilted Town is any indication of what’s to come, we’re in for an interesting season. The new location doesn’t allow for building or harvesting of any kind and turns everything into a Western theme on your screen.
With a new POI returning supposedly returning every week, will every location be like Tilted Town? The chances are good since Epic Games has focused Season X on time travel, and messing with the past (e.g., building and harvesting) is not allowed.
Fortnite is sure to undergo some major changes to both the map and gameplay over the next two months. Fingers crossed Epic Games can implement transformations that are appealing to the community and don’t break Fortnite gameplay-wise.
