With the current state of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, every upcoming update is highly anticipated. Most fans feel that the game can be vastly improved with a few simple fixes. However, Infinity Ward seems to be taking its time with implementing these types of changes. In the 1.09 update, nothing major was really adjusted much to the dismay of fans. However, for those biding their time till a rumored overhaul, various content creators are reporting today that new maps and Operators are headed to Modern Warfare.

New maps and remakes arriving soon in Modern Warfare

Last week, we reported on some leaks that suggested some map remakes that could come to Modern Warfare. These included the original Modern Warfare maps Crash and Wetwork. According to the Snapchat filter content creators were given, both Crash and Wetwork remakes are official. Here’s YouTuber PrestigeIsKey showing off his “AR Card” with the new content on it.

As we can see from the video, it appears that a map named Cargo is coming to Modern Warfare. Along with that, a new map called Atrium is also in the works. Cargo is the supposed Wetwork remake that takes place inside of a ship.

Atrium is a map that we don’t know much about except for the image we see in the video. While Cargo and Atrium are the only two maps by name, there is a third that’s shown off. Around 14 seconds into the video, we can clearly see the map Crash.

We don’t know when these maps will arrive in Modern Warfare, but it should be relatively soon. Infinity Ward likes to give an early access look to content creators a week or two before they release the content to the public.

New Operators on the way?

Also scattered throughout the video are different people’s names. We have Mara (from the Campaign), Nikto, and Mr. Z. It seems clear that both Mara and Nikto will be released as new, unlockable Operators in Modern Warfare multiplayer.

However, Mr. Z isn’t given any description like the other two, and his face is blacked out. It most likely relates to a future content update for Modern Warfare.
