OverActive Media just announced its newest partnership with SkipTheDishes. This means SkipTheDishes is Toronto Defiant’s official food delivery service.

The partnership is a multi-year deal. Toronto Defiant fans will also get to experience the service during the upcoming Homestand Weekend between Apr. 18 – 19 this year. This Homestand Weekend event will take place at Toronto’s very own Roy Thomson Hall, and seats can be purchased through Ticketmaster.

Toronto Defiant fans who get the “King’s Row” package will also receive a commemorative item along with other swag. For those who cannot attend the first event in-person, they can still participate in related SkipTheDishes and Toronto Defiant giveaways and contests through social media.

“The food category is a competitive partnership category, and we are thrilled to be welcoming the leading brand in Canada into the OAM family,” Tyler Keenan, the vice president of global partnerships at OverActive Media, said.

He added that the homestand games will be the highest expression of the Toronto Defiant brand. He said the fan experience will only be made better by partnering up with SkipTheDishes.

Robert Payne, vice president of national partnerships at SkipTheDishes, said he is equally as excited about the deal. “We can’t wait to add to the live fan experience at upcoming home games by delivering a unique experience to both players and fans,” he elaborated.

SkipTheDishes is not the only brand to have joined the OverActive Media roster of corporate partnerships. Other partnerships include Bell and Canon. Just last month, the esports organization officially announced its partnership with Universal Music Canada, which sought to bridge the gap between esports and music.

Along with that announcement, Toronto Defiant and Toronto Ultra fans were given two playlists to have a listen to in-between Overwatch League and Call of Duty League matches. These playlists can be streamed on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music.
