Fortnite streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has teased an upcoming collaboration with sportswear manufacturer Adidas on Dec 31. The partnership between the personality and brand was announced in August, which consisted of a multi-year deal. While some content creators have received clothing, we haven’t yet seen any information about the merchandise line itself.

Battle Pass, a verified Twitter account that seems to be either owned or connected to Ninja himself, posted a video this weekend teasing the collaboration. It features a photo of Ninja with friends at The Game Awards. In the photo, he is wearing a pin with the date of December 31, along with the logos of Adidas and Ninja.

After signing an exclusivity streaming deal with Microsoft platform Mixer, Ninja has come out publicly to state that he does not care about the decline of viewership. Since he signed for a reported $40 – 50 million, it is true that he no longer has to worry about doing sponsored streams. Instead, he can focus on what he loves doing rather than streaming longer hours to earn more.

Will viewership affect sales?

The content creator still has sponsorships with Red Bull, and he has recently released a graphic novel and book. Fans have seen pictures of hoodies and tracksuits with designs featuring Ninja, but no further information has been disclosed about the exact type being released with Adidas. He also doesn’t have the same viewership anymore, which many in the community are sure will impact the sales of his clothing.

Ninja has previously talked about how the partnership could lead to both physical and virtual goods. Could Ninja be getting skins of himself in the popular battle royale title that made him famous?
