Yet another Call of Duty League roster has bitten the dust. OpTic Gaming L.A. has announced that its 2020 roster will be fractured in a huge way. While certainly not as extreme as other organizations, OpTic Gaming will need to find some replacements for 2021. However, the Immortals-owned organization is keeping its core together. This consists of Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat and Kenny “Kuavo” Williams. It is likely that OpTic will attempt to build around these two stars when the 2021 CDL season begins on September 14.
A minor overhaul for OpTic Gaming L.A.
For the most part, there were no surprises when OpTic made its announcements earlier today. We already knew Brandon “Dashy” Otell wouldn’t be rejoining the squad in 2021. Along with him though, OG released two substitutes (Goonjar and Chino) and Darien “Hollow” Chverchko.
However, what is surprising is that Zack “Drazah” Jordan seems to be staying aboard for 2021. Drazah was brought on board with Hollow at the end of the 2020 season as an amateur out of CDL Challengers. For the time being, he’s staying on with OpTic Gaming. Although, it remains to be seen whether or not he’ll stay a starter.
Thank you, @hollow412, for coming in and stepping up when it mattered. Wishing you nothing but the best heading into next year 💚#OGLA pic.twitter.com/xiwpZCkYL3

In regards to the OpTic Gaming’s plans for 2021, no one knows for sure what the organization is thinking. There have been reports that Preston “Priestahh” Greiner could be in talks with OpTic, however. This makes sense, as Priestahh played with both Kuavo and SlasheR on 100 Thieves in 2018-2019.
Though, there were also recent reports that Priestahh was looking at other options. So as of right now, nothing is set in stone for the most storied franchise in Call of Duty. They’ll certainly want to put together a superstar squad after their abysmal performance in 2020, so keep your eyes on OpTic when Free Agency rolls around next week.
