The OWL heads to Houston for Week 4 with some exciting games for fans to look forward to. Here are some of the best games to watch over the weekend and what to look out for.

OWL Week 4 Houston

Toronto Defiant vs. Atlanta Reign

Toronto is off to a 1-1 start in the 2020 OWL season, but they were only one map away from starting 2-0 and beating the conference leaders, the Philadelphia Fusion. Toronto has yet to see if their acquisitions of star damage players Lane “Surefour” Roberts and Brady “Agilities” Girardi during the offseason will pay off.

Atlanta hasn’t played a single game yet this year, but they have two of the top tank prospects from Contenders in Blake “Gator” Scott and Xander “Hawk” Domecq. Opening their season with a win over a seemingly strong Toronto team would be a big statement.

London Spitfire vs. Houston Outlaws

The Spitfire pulled off a reverse sweep against the Washington Justice in week three, but they still don’t look very threatening. They are currently rocking a 1-2 record early in the OWL season, with losses to New York and Paris. They have shown potential, so beating Houston here is a must.

Meanwhile, Houston has looked flat-out awful in three of their four games. They did show signs of life in a seven-map set against Boston, however, so it will be interesting to see if they can make any improvements for their home fans. Beating London would be a big step in the right direction.

Paris Eternal vs. Atlanta Reign

Depending on how Atlanta performs against Toronto, they will enter this game coming off of their first win or loss in the season. While Atlanta is probably the favorite to win this, Paris didn’t look too shabby in their first few matches.

Paris is 2-1, but it’s debatable how much those wins actually mean. Their first win came off of the London Spitfire in week one and their second was against Washington in week 3. This matchup will help determine how good they actually are.

London Spitfire vs. Florida Mayhem

London and Florida are both teams that don’t look very strong in the early stages of the OWL season, so this should be a fun match to watch. Both of these teams stand a fair chance of winning so expect some close maps.

This weekend has a lot of potential for good games. Houston will have the support of the home fans, so it should be fun to see if they can step it up and pick up their first win. If they can, it might say a lot for having the home-field advantage.
