Prestinni traded from the Florida Mutineers to Chicago Huntsmen

Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson has finally been traded from the Florida Mutineers to the Chicago Huntsmen. It’s a move that was rumored for the past couple of weeks, but now it’s official. This is the first transfer of one player to another team in the Call of Duty League’s history, and it couldn’t come at a better time for Prestinni. Since announcing his temporary leave in early March, the former World Champion hasn’t played a map in the CDL. However, with this trade, he joins a star-studded roster that also happens to house his twin brother, Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson.

What this move means for Prestinni and Chicago

The trade rumors surrounding Prestinni have been swirling for a few weeks now. The Mutineers clearly favored Maurice “f3rocitys” Henriquez over Prestinni, which began the rumors. Of course, Florida needed to find a trade partner that had an open starting roster spot. Enter Chicago.

The Huntsmen have struggled mightily in recent months, failing to string together consistent performances. This has been attributed to many things, but the chief reason was a lack of team chemistry. While we don’t know the root cause of this, it’s been speculated that Pierce “Gunless” Hillman simply wasn’t meshing with the team. This ended up with Chicago benching Gunless.

After this news became public, it was clear that Florida and Chicago were going to make a trade. This was the dream scenario for Prestinni, as he gets to join a top-tier roster as well as his brother, Arcitys. The two twins played together for three years on United. That’s exactly the kind of chemistry the Huntsmen were looking for.

As for Gunless, we’re not sure where he will end up. In terms of talent, there’s not a lot of players better. However, it may prove difficult for Gunless to end up on a team with an open starting roster spot. Chicago still owns his rights, so they will have to trade him.
