The new League of Legends PsyOps event is taking place on the Rift starting today until September 30, and Daily Esports has you covered. With a complete list of missions, milestones, and battle pass rewards, we have a detailed guide on what to expect and how to get the most out of PsyOps 2020.
Event Intro
Once you open your in-client hub, you should be greeted with the event splash art and trailer. Riot Games released the skins trailer earlier this week, so this is your chance to see the video if you haven’t done so already.
After logging in, you should also see a One-For-All notification pop up. The popular game mode is back and available to play!
At the bottom of the client, you’ll see an “Initiate Uplink” button. This will bring you to a screen detailing what’s available for bundles, event passes, and more. Once you’re ready to begin playing, open your Missions menu to activate your PsyOps missions and begin earning tokens.
While the event runs until September 30, you’ll be able to use any tokens earned until October 2, 11:59 PDT.
PsyOps Pass & Pass Bundle details
As with all of their special events, League of Legends have made an exclusive PsyOps battle pass available for players to purchase.
The regular “LoL PsyOps Pass” can be bought for 1650 RP. This comes with 200 PsyOps Tokens and 4 PsyOps Orbs. It also gives you access to a ton of milestone mission rewards, which we’ve detailed further down this page.
The more expensive “LoL PsyOps Pass Bundle” is available for 2650 RP. This bundle comes with everything in the battle pass, along with the snazzy new PsyOps Ezreal champion skin. Accompanying the skin will be a matching icon and loading screen border.
If you buy just the pass at first, you can still pay the difference to purchase the skin bundle later if you wish.
Token Rewards (Pass Exclusive)
Along with the instant rewards, purchasing a PsyOps Pass makes you eligible to earn token rewards for every game played. The following is a breakdown of how many tokens you will receive in each game mode (Co-op vs AI and custom games aren’t included):
- Win a matchmade PVP SR match: 10 Tokens
- Lose a matchmade PVP SR match: 5 Tokens
- Win a matchmade One For All match: 6 Tokens
- Lose a matchmade One For All match: 3 Tokens
- Win a matchmade PvP ARAM match: 6 Tokens
- Lose a matchmade PvP ARAM match: 3 Tokens
- Achieve a rank of 1-2 in TFT: 8 Tokens
- Achieve a rank of 3-4 in TFT: 6 Tokens
- Achieve a rank of 5-6 in TFT: 4 Tokens
- Achieve a rank of 7-8 in TFT: 2 Tokens
Milestone Missions (Pass Exclusive)
The PsyOps Pass also comes with 20 Milestone missions. Every time you win a game it will contribute 5 points towards your milestones. Each loss will contribute 2 points. Every milestone mission simply requires 15 points of progress to be completed.

All of the above milestone missions are sequential, meaning you’ll need to complete the first before you can unlock the second, and so on.
Weekly Win Missions (Pass Exclusive)
Finally, purchasing a PsyOps Pass will give you access to four huge weekly missions. Similar to the milestone missions, every time you win a game in Summoner’s Rift, ARAM, One for All, or TFT, you’ll receive 5 points that go towards a big weekly goal. If you lose, you’ll receive 2 points. Either way, you’ll make progress just by playing.
For Week 4, there will be a special weekly mission that requires more games played but will also grant you an extra 150 tokens.
- Week 1: Score 35 Points / 215 Tokens
- Week 2: Score 35 Points / 215 Tokens
- Week 3: Score 35 Points / 215 Tokens
- Week 4: Score 60 Points / 355 Tokens
Note: You don’t have to complete a weekly mission immediately. All weeklies carry over until the end of the event. If you don’t have time early on, you can still cram your weeklies later in the month to get all of the rewards.
PsyOps Event Missions (Free for all players)
For the free-to-play players who are not interested in purchasing the battle pass, there are a bundle of free missions available as well. These include one large event mission that rewards 50 tokens and a PsyOps orb, as well as several smaller objective missions for players to complete.
PSYOPS: Orb Mission
- Play 30 games
- Reward: PsyOps Event Orb + 50 PsyOps Tokens
Breaking and Entering:
- Play 5 games – OR – Win a game where your team took 7 or more structure
- Reward: PsyOps Icon
Rats in Paradise:
- Play 5 games – OR – Play a game where you or someone on your team scores first blood
- Reward: 10 PsyOps tokens
Get To Work:
- Play 7 games – OR – Kill 200 Minions
- Reward: 10 Tokens
Exterminate:
- Play 7 games – OR – Earn 30 Takedowns (kills or assists)
- Reward: 10 Tokens
Coordinate:
- Play 3 games – OR – Play a matchmade game in a party with 1 or more friends
- Reward: 10 Tokens
Converge:
- Play 5 games – OR – Get a kill or assist in which your entire team was involved (One for All only)
- Reward: 10 Tokens
Destroy:
- Play 3 games – OR – Destroy 12 Structures in ARAM
- Reward: 10 Tokens
Liberation:
- Play 4 games – OR – Win 2 games – OR – Win a game as Shen, Master Yi, Vi, Ezreal, or Sona
- Reward: 10 Tokens
Supply:
- Play 5 games – OR – Earn 30,000 Gold in Summoner’s Rift
- Reward: 10 Tokens
Obscure:
- Play 4 games – OR – Win 2 games on Summoner’s Rift – OR – Win a game as Kayle, Zed, Viktor, or Pyke
