Posted on PUBG Corporation’s official Twitter, they are bringing attention to Australia’s wildfires that have been ongoing since September. Unfortunately, this event has taken thousands of homes and lives. It’s also estimated that Australia has lost over one billion animal lives.

Additionally, many parts of Australia have been recently affected by sudden rain showers, resulting in flooding and terrible storms. Although the fires are slowing down, the road to recovery for many Australian cities is far from over.

Offering a helping hand

As a result, PUBG Corporation is stepping in to help as much as they can. They have created a charity skin, which is on sale for only $2.99. The pan skin features original art created by @SWatercolor.

“While we’re happy to see the fires contained, there’s an incredible amount of damage left in their wake,” they state on their official website. “For those who purchase the pan, we thank you for your contribution to this effort. If the pan is not for you, we encourage you to research the disaster relief efforts and donate directly to a charity of your choosing.”

Sale dates and cost

Once the sale ends, 100 percent of the funds will go towards helping Australia recover from damages. They also state the pan skin will be available on both PC and console. The available dates and costs are as follows:

  • PC: 19th February – 18th March – $2.99
  • Console: 27th February – 26th March – 300 G-Coin

Excited followers are commenting on the Twitter post over this new exclusive item. One follower posted a photo of their in-game purchase.

Many people are grateful for the kind act from PUBG Corporation and are hoping other organizations follow their footsteps. Aside from their fundraisers, Activision has also raised over 1.6 million for Australian wildfire relief.
