Red Bull Final Summoning bringing Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals to Twitch, LA

The party’s at Los Angeles for Dragon Ball FighterZ fans and players. On Jan. 26 and 27, Red Bull Final Summoning will be hosting a brand-new tournament at The Majestic Downtown, Los Angeles. Marking the culmination of the Dragon Ball FighterZ 2018-2019 World Tour, the event will exclusively livestreamed on Twitch. This event will also feature Bandai Namco Entertainment. The Red Bull Final Summoning will start with competitors duking it out in the Last Chance Qualifier Jan. 26, before facing off the very next day at the World Finals.

Long way to the top if you wanna main Goku

Players have been competing throughout the year to earn Final Top 9 spots for the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour. The remainder of these spots will be decided in single-elimination brackets at the Last Chance Qualifier. The event livestream can be found here on Twitch, which is also Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour’s managing partner for content, circuit events, and league operations.

Dragon Ball FighterZ had a big year

Dragon Ball FighterZ won the Best Fighting Game Award at The Game Awards this year, beating out BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Soulcaliber VI, and Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. The game also won over 20 awards at E3 2017. It broke records at the EVO World Championships in Las Vegas as well, with over 260,000 Twitch viewers at one time.

How to be a part of the action

In addition to tuning into the exclusive livestream on Twitch, fans can check out the Red Bull Final Summoning Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament in-person by purchasing tickets via Redbull. Registering for the tournament is $25 for competitors and $10 for spectators.
