Carl Martin Erik Larsson, also known as Rekkles, has just reached another milestone in his League of Legends career by getting his 1500th kill in the LEC. Rekkles is one of the best AD carries in Europe, if not the best. He has played professional League since 2012 when he played for Playing Ducks at the age of 15. His average placement since the 2015 Summer EU LCS is 3.31. The 22-year-old from Sweden has made a name for himself in the LEC and League of Legends as a whole. His current LEC performance and statistics shows us that it doesn’t look like he is stopping any time soon.

World championship
Over such a long career, Rekkles has no doubt experienced many things. From heartbreaking losses to to the most glorious of victories, Rekkles has been there. The one thing Rekkles has yet to achieve is a world championship. Throughout different interviews, you can see that this is the one accolade Rekkles wants more than anything. He has been in the grand finals of a world championship twice in his career but can’t seem to make it over that hump. Maybe 2019 will be that year for him.
Moving forward
Rekkles plays for Fnatic, who currently have an 8-3 record in the LEC Summer 2019, sitting at 2nd under G2 Esports. They lost their match today against Misfits, but that didn’t stop Rekkles from achieving such an incredible individual accolade. Fnatic are set to take on Origen on July 26, and this will be an extremely important match for them and their LEC run. A loss could move them from second all the way down to fourth, but Rekkles and his team won’t go down easy. Rekkles currently holds eight top 10 placings out of the 12 tracked on League of Graphs. With a stat line like this, it is no wonder why he is considered one of the best.
