Renegades are back to CSGO after signing the full lineup of Grayhound Gaming. The fully Australian lineup will compete at ESL Pro League Season 10 finals with the brand new roster.

The boys are back

The famous slogan “yeah the boys” keeps on living as the fully Australian lineup will now represent Renegades, which happens to be based in Australia as well.

Renegades lost its original lineup when the full roster moved to represent the newly established 100 Thieves CSGO team. The strong formation included the likes of Justin “jks” Savage or Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad.

The new roster comes right in time for the team to compete at ESL Pro League Season 10 finals, where the boys from down under will have to face the likes of Astralis, G2, Team Liquid, and other top flight teams. How the rejuvenated Renegades will fare in this initial test is a mystery.

The announcement

The announcement of the former Grayhound roster came in a comical video posted on Twitter featuring Liam “malta” Schembri having a conversation with NBA star Jonas Jerebko, who is the owner of the Renegades organization. The contract, so to speak, allegedly features “BIG MONEY” and “BIG BUSINESS,” showing the humor and distance that the roster has been known for, especially with the initial sticker suggestions for the major handed in by Ollie “DickStacy” Tierney. Jonas Jerebko himself chimes in towards the end to express his excitement for his new lineup as well as welcoming all the new players to the team. You can check out the announcement video below.

The new Renegades lineup looks as follows:

  • Ollie “DickStacy” Tierney
  • Liam “malta” Schembri
  • Christopher “dexter” Nong
  • Joshua “INS” Potter
  • Simon “Sico” Williams
