Iván “Razork” Martín, formerly of Misfits Gaming, is set to play for Fnatic next year on a three-year deal, Dot Esports confirmed on their Free Agency Show Monday evening. The move was first reported by Brieuc Seeger (also known as @LEC_Wooloo). The former Misfits jungler will replace Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau on Fnatic.

“Razork is joining Fnatic as their new Jungler,” Free Agency Show tweeted. “It’ll be a three-year deal. He replaces Bwipo who is heading to Team Liquid.”

Razork moves to Fnatic

Razork was one of the most exciting junglers to come out of the LEC in 2021. Misfits went from missing playoffs in the spring, to challenging Fnatic in the summer split playoffs. The series went to five games and was close until the very end. Razork is well-known for playing aggressive early junglers such as Xin Zhao and Lee Sin.

The changes to the Fnatic roster come after a successful, yet rocky season. Fnatic made themselves known in the LEC for an extremely aggressive playstyle that revolved around their bot lane of Elias “Upset” Lipp and Zdravets “Hyllisang” Iliev Galabov. While their previous jungler was Bwipo, the playstyle of Razork will fit the aggressive style Fnatic are known for. Even though Fnatic had a successful summer split in 2021, where they lost to MAD Lions in the grand finals, their Worlds 2021 run left much to be desired. The team did not make it out of the group stages, in some part due to their AD Carry Upset leaving the team due to family issues.

With Bwipo was rumored to be leaving in order to become Team Liquid’s new top laner, Razork will take his place for the next three years. While this is one of the moves that is solidified for Fnatic, the question of their top-laner still remains up in the air. With Adam “Adam” Maanane having reportedly reached a verbal agreement to sign with the new team BDS, determining who will replace him is an important next step.
