Apex Legends’ newest Legend, Mad Maggie, will be released with Apex Legends Season 12: Defiance on Feb. 8. Before that happens, however, Respawn Entertainment released a gameplay trailer for the season, showcasing what Mad Maggie is capable of.
Here are all of her abilities.
Tactical ability: Riot Drill
Mad Maggie’s tactical ability is the Riot Drill. This ability allows her to shoot a horizontal drill that will, after a brief delay, burn enemies through obstacles. This ability, which resembles VALORANT agent Breach’s Aftershock ability, will be useful for dislodging enemies hidden behind cover or in tight spaces and corners.
Passive ability: Warlord’s Ire
Mad Maggie’s passive ability Warlord’s Ire temporarily highlights enemies she has damaged and allows her to move faster with a shotgun. It also gives her a unique animation for picking up certain shotguns, like the Mastiff. This makes her the second Legend to have a particular affinity for a class of weapon, after Rampart.
Ultimate ability: Wrecking Ball
Mad Maggie’s ultimate ability, Wrecking Ball, releases speed-boosting pads whenever it bounces. These pads look like blue discs on the ground. The ball then detonates near enemies.
