The “Nexus Park” Is considered to be a fun family experience, perfect for the everyday gamer or someone looking for a weekend getaway. This is an experience that League of Legends has never offered before. From mazes, target practices, and selfie booths – there is something here for everyone.

Of course, Riot Games brings out the music

In addition to all of the entertainment offered so far, Riot Games is also hosting an immersive concert with live music. The 3-layered lineup is detailed on their website and features iconic music from the world of League of Legends.

The opening ceremony starts at 7 PM on the first day of the event. Performers will include DJ Mako, The Crystal Method, and Jason Derulo.

The artists for the second concert are yet to be announced. This ceremony will also incorporate visual experiences – which seems to involve VR and other special effects.

Qualifiers for the tournaments had begun in November across the 13 MENA (Middle Eastern, North African) region. Although Riot Games have recently opened an office in Dubai, players of the MENA region still don’t have a proper server to play on. This causes high ping and lagged play times. But Riot Games appears committed to growing the region, stating in their 10th-anniversary announcement that League of Legends will support the Arabic language next year. This is a good step in accessibility for all players in the MENA region to enjoy the popular MOBA.

Finally, this event will be able to represent Saudi Arabia as a globally recognized entertainment destination. As it is part of the Riyadh Season, the Saudi General Entertainment Authority found Nexus as a great opportunity to immerse themselves in this rapidly growing industry.

You can view their countdown on their official Saudi Arabia website, which includes details on the mentioned events. Nexus is described to be a “celebration to remember through a unique and entertaining journey.”
