The three exclusive snapback designs will utilize mainly the LCS logo. The location of Detroit where the LCS Summer Finals will take place will also be incorporated into the design. Each of the limited-edition styles will only have 200 available for purchase, to commemorate the 2019 LCS season.

“As a league, we’re always looking for new ways that fans can express their personalities and show their affiliation and fandom for LCS,” commented Matt Archambault, the Head of Esports Partnerships and Business Development at Riot Games for North America. “We’re excited to work with SNAPS to create a limited-edition line of accessories for the 2019 LCS Summer Finals presented by Rocket Mortgage. SNAPS accessories offer a unique and creative way to enhance your apparel and we hope they’ll offer some fun flair for our passionate fans.”

Top teams from the 2019 LCS Regular Season will duke it out at the Little Caesars Arena on Aug. 24 – 25. Winners will get the title of best North American League of Legends team and a spot to the 2019 World Championships. Many in the community have North American esports organization Team Liquid as the most likely winner.

SNAPS partnership

The League of Legends Championship Series already has an existing partnership with esports merchandise company We Are Nations. This partnership currently provides jerseys for all 10 of the Riot Games-franchised organizations in the LCS. The merchandise can be found on various online marketplaces as well as some physical storefronts.

“The small details make the biggest differences and have the most positive impact when playing these games at the highest level. The head game it takes to win and relentlessness of these competitors lines up seamlessly with our internal code at SNAPS: Details Matter,” added Matt Eldridge, the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of SNAPS. “Focusing on the details is why these teams and players are here, and it’s why we are here, as a new product and also a partner.”

SNAPS, on the other hand, is only focused on snapback accessories. The company currently works with the National Basketball Association where it creates various limited-edition releases as well. This partnership with Riot Games marks the first venture into esports for SNAPS.

Jerseys seem to be the most common offering for esports merchandise. What other types of accessories would you be interested in purchasing? Flags and laptop covers are something I would be interested in. Let us know in the comments, and keep up with all of the latest League of Legends news and content here at Daily Esports.
