Rogue creates ‘Junior Rogue’ to help mentor young Fortnite players

It’s never too early to start pursuing a career in professional esports. Thanks to esports organization Rogue, young players will have a chance to jumpstart their learning. Rogue announced the launch of Junior Rogue today to help Fortnite players under the age of 18 hone their skills.

  • Meant for Fortnite players under 18.
  • Junior Rogue’s first semester begins on October 8.
  • Includes weekly online seminars that will go into detail about potential esports careers.
  • Seminars include mentorship from pro Fortnite players and streamers like Ryan “00flour” Borst and Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo.
  • Participants will be able to earn a $500 scholarship, with some travel expenses covered during event appearances.
  • They will also get exclusive Junior Rogue merchandise, and be able to use exclusive graphics for streaming and their social media accounts.
  • Junior Rogue players are to be officially recognized and promoted by the Rogue organization.

This amazing initiative is a partnership with Find Your Grind, which aims help young people “discover who they are, where they’re going, and the first steps to get there.”

“Team Rogue and ReKTGlobal have given us a phenomenal opportunity to reach young gamers interested in pursuing esports as a lifestyle,” said Find Your Grind founder Nick Gross. “With the Junior Rogue program, we hope to make esports careers more accessible to a wider group of young people and open their eyes to new opportunities.”

What a fantastic idea that is sure to do well. After all, Fortnite is extremely popular with the under-18 crowd. If they want to make a career in esports, it’s never too early to start learning about the field.
