For Patch 11.13, Rumble, Lee Sin and Riven are the only champions nerfed. The nerfs will only apply to Rumble’s jungling powers, a champion slowly becoming a favorite pick in the current meta. From a top and mid lane staple, Rumble’s recent buffs have seen him become a frequent jungle pick. His rapid clear speed and gank potential serve as great tools for any team to have.

Also, Rumble’s Equalizer is effective in stopping the opposition from easily taking down towers and pairs well with a champion like Varus. Furthermore, Lee Sin has also become very popular in professional play. Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok recently played Lee Sin in the mid lane against Hanwha Life Esports, finishing the game with a 7/1/6 Kill/Death/Assist score line.

Asides from nerfs, champion adjustments will be made to Viego for him to become a jungle champion. These changes will see a nerf to Viego in the mid lane, making the champion more effective in the jungle. In most professional games, Viego has shown up in the top and mid lane. However, with these new changes, it will be interesting to see how Viego does in the jungle role.

More changes and new items in Patch 11.13

Additionally, Dr Mundo, Aphelios, Xayah and Olaf will receive buffs. Olaf’s previous nerfs led to the champion’s low pick rates across professional and casual play. With these new buffs, Olaf may return to rival meta picks like the Udyr and Rumble.

Riot Games also aims to limit systemic mobility in the game with League of Legends Patch 11.13. The new patch features mobility creep reduction on items available to players. Also, there are many buffs for mage items and the introduction of two new items. The Hullbreaker and Anathema’s Chains will make their debut in Patch 11.3. Hullbreaker will replace Sanguine Blade as the major item for attack damage split pushers.

Hullbreaker comes with attack damage of 50 and 400 health. It also grants up to 45 armor, magic resist and 20% increase damage to towers. Anathema’s Chains is a tank item that will give players 650 health and 20 ability haste. The item also allows players to choose an enemy champion as a nemesis. For 60 seconds, players will start building a vendetta over their chosen nemesis. In that period, players will take 30% reduced damage from their nemesis. Both new items are available for testing on the PBE on Patch 11.13.

League of Legends Patch 11.3 is set to release on June 23, according to the official patch schedule.
