At a panel during Anime Expo 2018, developer Lab Zero revealed that Skullgirls 2nd Encore will soon be coming to Nintendo Switch. The event showed off a fight between Parasoul and Peacock.

The most recent version of Skullgirls is Skullgirls 2nd Encore. As of right now, Skullgirls is playable on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Android, iOS, and PC. However, Skullgirls 2nd Encore is only available on PlayStation 4, Vita, and PC. Skullgirls isn’t currently playable in any form on the Switch.
Skullgirls has four modes. Along with Story mode, there’s also Challenge, Survival, and Trial. It’s not yet clear if the Switch version will have extra content or if it’ll be a straight port.
Sadly, the release date for Skullgirls on Switch is unknown, so we’ll have to be patient for a bit. But, rest assured, we will update you if there are any developments!
