To kick off the top 8, Sonix scored 3-1 victories against both Dominic “T3 DOM” Carone and Yezre’el “Yez” Askew. Impressively, he finished the tournament in an even more dominant fashion. Sonix beat Gabriel “Epic_Gabriel” Romero 3-0 in Grand Finals to win M-Kolosseum #2.

Other results from M-Kolosseum #2

Epic_Gabriel dropped a set surprisingly early, losing a R.O.B. ditto against Brett “8BitMan” Esposito in round one of top 32. However, he pulled off a phenomenal losers run in order to place 2nd at M-Kolosseum #2. He reached top 8 after a series of 2-0 wins against Colin “colinies” Landals, WebbJP, and Spencer “BestNess” Garner. From there, Epic_Gabriel eliminated Lui$ 3-1, Edgar “Sparg0” Valdez 3-1, T3 DOM 3-0, and Yez 3-1.

On his road to 3rd place, Yez scored a wide array of spectacular wins. He defeated the likes of “RatedRudy” and Jaylin “Ginnga” Johnson in pools. In addition, Yez beat Noah “Sharp” McCulley, 8BitMan, and No. 1 seed Sparg0 on his way to Winners Finals.

Though he did not compete in online tournaments last season, T3 DOM has cemented himself as one of this season’s fastest-rising threats. He further proved this with his 4th place finish at M-Kolosseum #2. T3 DOM took sets off of Marco “Marvelous_Marco” Blanco, Robert “Myran” Herrin, BestNess, and Santiago “Chag” Perez.

Super Smash Bros. Melee legend Jason “Mew2King” Zimmerman has not competed in online Ultimate tournaments often. However, he had his most successful online performance at M-Kolosseum #2. Despite missing out on top 8, Mew2King earned many impressive wins en route to 9th place. Mew2King defeated “ChaseMe,” Kelsy “SuperGirlKels” Medeiros, and Ryan “Ravenking” McDonough.
