The future of gaming is constantly changing and growing, and that’s what Sony focused on when developing the PS5. On March 18, they revealed a list of specs and features the next-gen console will have, including CPU, System Memory, GPU and more. The most highly anticipated feature, though, has been the possibility of the console offering backward compatibility.
For some insight, backward compatibility is a feature that would allow the PS5 to play games from previous PlayStation consoles. Unfortunately, the absence of the topic in the blog post created some disappointment in the gaming community. After plenty of rumors throughout the past year, fans hoped they would be able to play their favorite classics in an updated console.
