Bot laner Nihat “Innaxe” Aliev has signed with GameWard for the Ligue Française de League of Legends 2022 season, sources told Upcomer on Monday.

The Bulgarian player spent the 2021 League of Legends season in the French European Regional League, where he played with GamersOrigin, who finished seventh of LFL 2021 Summer. Innaxe has also played in the League European Championship; in 2020, he joined Schalke 04 and ended up sharing the spot with bot laner Matúš “Neon” Jakubčík.

Innaxe is going to complete a GameWard roster of top laner Dawid “Melonik” Ślęczka, jungler Philippe “Akabane” Le, mid laner Paweł “Czekolad” Szczepanik and support Kamil “Kamilius” Košťál, as previously reported by Upcomer. Since that report, all the players of the roster have also signed. This is looking like a strong rebuilding for a team that finished fourth in LFL 2021 spring split and seventh for the summer split.

Innaxe is the fourth bot laner reported by Upcomer that played in the LEC previously but will end up in the LFL for 2022. Karmine Corp’s Martin “Rekkles” Larsson, BDS Academy’s Juš “Crownshot” Marušič and Vitality.Bee AD carry Jesper “Jeskla” Klarin Strömberg are part of that list. The French ERL is also going to have a former LCS bot laner in Liyu “Cody Sun” Sun, who will play for Elyandra.
