Sources: MNM Gaming lock in their NLC 2022 spring roster

The team is expected to field Bobista, Kanna, RoyalKanin, Mishigu and DrChaos

British organization MNM Gaming have locked in their roster to play in the Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC) Division 1, according to sources close to Upcomer. The team has declined to comment on whether the roster has been fully signed with no pending verbal agreements. They are expected to field this team for 2022 spring:

Top laner Bobista rejoins MNM Gaming from helping Auxesis Esports qualify for the Esports Balkan League 2022 spring and aNc Outplayed in the Iberian Cup 2021, having played for them during NLC 2021 spring. Kanna joins from helping Munster Rugby Gaming qualify for the NLC Division 2 2022 spring and Crvena zvezda Esports in the EBL, where they finished second last summer and qualified for the European Masters play-ins.

RoyalKanin, Mishigu and DrChaos have all played on Granit Gaming in the NLC before but at different seasons. RoyalKanin played on Granit during 2021 summer and recently was on Prime League 1st Division team mYinsanity. Mishigu and DrChaos played a bot lane duo on Granit during 2021 spring, helping them reach playoffs. Mishigu recently played on UniQ Esports Club and won the Telia Esports Series Sweden 2021 summer and also helped Bifrost qualify for the NLC’s first division in 2022.

Meanwhile, DrChaos was on Sector One where he helped them become champions in the Belgian League 2021 summer, qualifying for the European Masters. He also played on Umbra Divinus Gaming in the Greek Legends League during their Winter Season. Substitute DanteNypd was confirmed on Twitter.

UK organization MNM Gaming are a familiar name within the UK and Irish esports circuit. Founded in 2014, MNM “is a premier esports club that started on premise of creating more opportunities for talented players to grow and succeed in the esports world,” as stated on their website. As an organization, they’ve competed across multiple tournaments in the UK and have been a staple in the European Regional League circuit.

MNM Gaming have been in the UK League of Legends Championship during its inception in 2019 and were also part of the NLC when it was first launched in 2020 summer. While they were relegated from the NLC to the UKLC in 2021 spring, MNM Gaming achieved second in the UKLC 2021 summer. They qualified for the NLC’s first division in 2022 by defeating X7 Esports 3-0 in the spring qualifiers.
