Bifrost have also signed coaches D2k and Negativve and reached an agreement with support DuaLL

Bifrost, a Norwegian team that will play in the Northern League of Legends Championship in 2022, have signed their roster for the 2022 spring split, sources close to Upcomer have confirmed. Bifrost qualified for the top NLC division in the 2022 spring qualifier tournament.

Bifrost’s 2022 NLC roster is as follows:

  • Top: Jordan “Shikari” Pointon
  • Jungle: Casper “Cboi” Bo Simonsen
  • Mid: Mike “Furuy” Wils
  • Bot: Adrian “Odi11” Kruk
  • Support: Ángel “DuaLL” Fernández Alvarez
  • Head Coach: Roman “D2k” Lanskoy
  • Coach: Denis “Negativve” Golovin
  • Head of Esports: Evan “Squalito” Svintsitski

While most of Bifrost’s roster is now locked in, support player DuaLL is still on a verbal agreement with the team as his current contract with Movistar Riders has yet to expire, sources tell Upcomer.

Bifrost NLC roster breakdown

Top laner Shikari is an experienced player who has played for teams like Misfits Academy and Fnatic Rising in the past. He joins Bifrost after a stint with Izi Dream in the Ligue Française de League of Legends. Jungler Cboi signs with Bifrost after winning Italy’s PG Nationals back-to-back with Macko Esports, along with coach D2k, who was also the head coach for Macko. Mid laner Furuy joins from another NLC squad in Team Singularity, where he finished fourth in spring and third in summer.

Bot laner Odi11 will play outside of Poland and the Ultraliga for the first time in his career. Last season he played for PDW in the Ultraliga Season 6 and won it, qualifying for European Masters 2021 Summer. Support DuaLL is a name that’s been around for a while in Spain and in the last three years, he has played for eight different teams in the LVP SuperLiga. He started 2021 with MAD Lions Madrid and joined Movistar Riders in summer, where the team qualified for the European Masters 2021 Summer. Coach Negativve has worked with teams like M19 and Romulea eSport while Squalito was formerly the manager of 404 Multigaming e.V.

Bifrost is a new organization in the NLC and played in the Telia Esports Series Norway in 2021. They won the tournament in spring as well as winning the Telia Masters. The team also managed to qualify through the NLC 2022 Spring Qualifier, where they won 3-0 against X7 Esports, making it to the top division. Bifrost also recently placed second at Telialigaen 2021 Autumn.
