Steel and Infinite to join Singularity’s ESEA roster

According to a report by Rush B Media, former Ghost Gaming player Joshua “steel” Nissan and Swole Patrol member Gage “Infinite” Green will join Singularity’s ESEA roster. The Danish Counter-Strike: Global Offensive organization recently had its founder and CEO Atle Stehouwer leave along with Ryan “ryann” Welsh. This seemed to confirm rumors about a roster move to Chaos Esports Club, which recently released its Swedish roster.

Singularity in ESEA

The rumored roster joining Chaos Esports Club would have Joshua “steel” Nissan in an in-game leader role. Former Cloud9 player Will “RUSH” Wierzba, current Swole Patrol player Gage “Infinite” Green, and Singularity member Cameron “hydrex” Kern would join him. Alan “Shakezullah” Hardeman would integrate into the roster in a coaching role. Previous Sprout and Heroic player Niels-Christian “NaToSaphiX” Sillassen is allegedly in talks to make up the fifth slot on the roster.

However, the reason why four of the players are currently still on the Singularity ESEA roster is to retain the slot. With the transfer, Chaos Esports Club also wants to keep the slot going forward. In order to do so, the former Singularity team is required to play the first eight matches in the upcoming Mountain Dew League season. Shakezullah will also play on the team until he transitions to his coach role on Chaos Esports Club.

Steel and Infinite

Joshua “steel” Nissan is a British Canadian professional CSGO player who got his start with Counter-Strike: Source. He is currently permanently banned from any involvement in Valve-related CSGO events. This is due to his participation in the infamous iBUYPOWER match-fixing scandal.

He took a break from competitive play after the scandal, between 2015 and late 2017. During his last role on Ghost Gaming, the team went on to a 3 – 4th place finish at 2018’s ZOTAC Cup Masters. The team also placed 7 – 8th at Season 8’s ESL Pro League Finals and 3 – 4th at the iBUYPOWER Masters IV tournament. However, steel’s participation in events is restricted now.

On the other hand, Gage “Infinite” Green only started competing in 2017. Infinite last played for Lazarus Esports before the organization decided to focus on Fortnite. He has since been playing for Swole Patrol. Season 32 of the Premier Division of North America’s ESEA began on Sept 9.
