Sony has finally released the PlayStation 5 to the public after months of anticipation. If you were not one of the lucky bunch who was able to pre-order a console or to pick one up at a local retailer on launch day, it can be incredibly frustrating trying to track one down. Daily Esports has assembled a list of major retailers who have the highest chance of having a PlayStation 5 in stock.
Both two versions of the console, the $500 base model PS5 and the $400 Digital Edition, have already seen limited restock but are both currently out of stock at all of these retailers. They won’t be sold out forever so make sure to check back here or bookmark these sites for more updates. Walmart released on Twitter when it was planning on releasing PlayStation 5 consoles to order, staggering purchasing windows throughout the day. It might be worth keeping an eye on the official Walmart Twitter in case they release more online.
To make it a little easier to check stock levels at different retailers, we broke up the listings by either the PS5 Digital Edition or the PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-Ray Disc Drive.

Certain retailers have also stated that they should be getting more consoles just in time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. Over on Twitter, user Wario64 released a leaked copy of Walmart’s Black Friday sale. The advertisement states that more PlayStation 5 with Blue-Ray Disc Drive consoles will be available “online” but does not give more detail beyond that. The sale starts on November 25, 7 PM ET, more than a day before most Black Friday sales begin.

GameStop might be the next best place to find a console later this year. According to their Black Friday sale ad, every store will have a minimum of two consoles available when they open on Nov. 27 at 7 a.m.
If you are confident you can find a console, it might be worth ordering a controller or other accessory even if you don’t physically have a PlayStation 5 now.
