Team Reciprocity: The International Lineup
Team Reciprocity has built an international superstar lineup for the upcoming Black Ops 4 season.

As defined by the Oxford Dictionary, reciprocity is “the practice of exchanging things with others for mutual benefit, especially privileges granted by one country or organization to another.” Now what does this have to do with esports? To be honest, probably nothing, but today does mark a shift in the Call of Duty esports scene.

The Canada-based organization has stepped into Call of Duty by picking up a roster combination of European and Australian players. Ex-Vitality in-game leader Thomas “Tommey” Trewren is joined by former players from Mindfreak and UNILAD Esports. This marks one of the first rosters to field high-caliber players from EU as well as APAC. Previous attempts were mostly a combination of NA and EU players, back in the Advanced Warfare days. Team Reciprocity may have accidentally released this information, as their team roster was released without any official statement. The roster is as follows:
- Thomas “Tommey” Trewren (Captain)
- Bradley “wuskin” Marshall
- Denholm “Denz” Taylor
- Zach “Zed” Denyer
- Sean “Seany” O’Connor
- Shane “ShAnE” McKerral (Coach)
Originally appearing in the esports scene by picking up a Halo team, Team Reciprocity has since expanded to other games. This is their first foray into Call of Duty and they have pulled some of the best talent available.
Team Reciprocity owner Chad Larsson confirms that the roster will be headquartered in Las Vegas.

The International Lineup
The biggest talking point of this roster is the acquisition of Australian talent, Denz. One of the rare sub-machine talents around, Denz has been competing for enough time to be considered a veteran. Following the conclusion of the World War II season, many have speculated him to make a move to a North American team. While Mindfreak’s previous year was not their best season, Denz has maintained a high-level performance against tournament-contending teams. Fans have been saying that Denz deserves a more talented team and it seems that their wish has been granted.
The core of the roster comprises former UNILAD Esports players: wuskin, Zed, and Seany. The core did not have any major achievements besides a fourth-place finish at CWL Anaheim, but was a solid roster. Mid-season roster changes led fans to believe that the UNILAD Esports roster would fail to improve. On the contrary, the team became a dark horse for some, able to go head-to-head against top teams. Comprised of relatively young players, the trio have yet to compete on a Treyarch boots-on-the-ground game. However, their fifth man could be the perfect fit for that dilemma.
The roster is finished off with the European veteran, Tommey. Having competed since the Modern Warfare days, Tommey is one of the best leaders Europe has to offer. Having three young guns to tutor, this team can become a really strong force. Just as well, Tommey and wuskin already have experience teaming on FNATIC during Infinite Warfare. That team also performed well underneath Tommey’s leadership and this new crew looks to replicate.
