Mark Jacobs as VP of Digital Sales

“Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of digital media sales to the table,” said Brad Sive, Chief Revenue Officer of Team SoloMid and Blitz, in a release. “He will be integral to the execution of our strategic initiatives with Blitz, and I am certain he will drive success for our brand partners. We are thrilled to have him on our team.”

Mark Jacobs joins TSM with 15 years of experience in media sales, following a previous position as Senior Managing Director of Digital Sales for luxury lifestyle magazine Robb Report. While there, he built partnerships and oversaw digital sales on the website. Jacobs has held sales positions at sports data management company Vertical Mass, culture media platform Complex, and digital internet property Break Media. He has also executed multiple high profile campaigns for marketing agency MediaCom.

Blitz data analytics platform

“I am so excited to join Team SoloMid and to be focusing on such an innovative product offering like Blitz,” Jacobs commented. “I am looking forward to using my background and network to make an immediate impact and building what I know will be a wildly successful business.”

In his new role as Vice President of Digital Sales for Blitz, Jacobs will help drive revenue for the analytics platform. In the ever-growing esports industry, data has become a major aspect for teams in the scene. The website’s personalized statistics and automated coaching helps professional esports players improve their techniques. Blitz also has the ability to help scout and train talent – something much needed by many North American esports organizations, which lack existing pipelines to find new players for their teams.
