Following the release of the Teamfight Tactics 9.17 patch over the past day all over the world, reports of various bugs started to come in. The main bug raising trouble is something causing the player winning the game to not earn any LP or MMR. Across the world, the ranked mode has been disabled as the developers work on a fix.

How long will ranked be down for

Developer Riot Mort tweeted that the servers will remain down for around 24 hours. The team is currently working on a fix that should be implemented for each region at 2 a.m. in the region’s local time. The reason for this wait, Riot Mort stated, is that the fixes for various issues require a full patch redeploy, requiring a server reset. For now, players can practice the new patch in the normal games queue for Teamfight Tactics.

The Void trait bug in patch 9.17

Another bug introduced in patch 9.17 is related to the Void trait in Teamfight Tactics. The Void champions, when three or more units are in play, gain the effect of dealing all sources of damage as true damage. However, with the current patch, the Void champions deal all their damage as true damage, even if there are no three champions of the Void trait in play.

Even more bugs in Teamfight Tactics

The final major bug this patch has introduced is surrounding the missions and beta pass points system. Currently, the Orb of Enlightenment will not update as it should after every game played. Besides this, claiming the Orb of Enlightenment will not grant any progress on the beta pass. The other aspect of the Teamfight Tactics beta pass is the missions. The missions currently can’t be claimed or progressed until the bugfix patch is released later in the day.
