TeamFight Tactics: Gizmos and Gadgets includes a mix of new and old champions, but plenty of good choices in total. While some infamous champions are back for TFT Set 6 (Set 3 Shaco), others, like Seraphine and Vex, are making their first appearance.

With that in mind, here is a quick look at some of the most novel and interesting champions coming in TFT Set 6.

Jinx and Tahm Kench headline the five-costs

The five-cost champions are always the most exciting ones. And while TFT Set 6 has many cool and unique five-cost units, Jinx and Tahm Kench, in particular stand out among the rest.

Jinx is a five-cost Sister, Scrap, Twinshot champion. Her ability is Super Mega Death Rocket. When she casts it, Jinx jumps on top of her rocket and flies high in the sky. After a delay, she comes crashing down at the center-most enemy champion. When she does, she deals big damage to enemies in the epicenter of the blast. She does half of that damage to other enemies in a large area. The blast then leaves the ground burning, and every unit besides Jinx, including your own, takes burn damage for a duration that reduces healing.

But that’s not all. After the cast, Jinx swaps to her rocket launcher and does increased damage with her auto attacks for the rest of the round.

Meanwhile, Tahm Kench is a five-cost with a unique trait. Glutton gives him the ability to consume champions, permanently. Players can feed Tahm Kench once every planning phase, which in turn gives him a permanent stat boost for the rest of the game. On top of that, Tahm Kench comes loaded with the Mercenary and Bruiser traits, too.

His actual ability is Devour. When cast, Tahm Kench devours his target, storing them in his belly for a short duration, doing magic damage while the champion is inside him. During this time, the champion is invulnerable to other sources of damage and Tahm Kench takes 40% reduced damage.

After the duration, he spits them out toward the farthest enemy and stuns enemies on impact. However, if the unit dies while in Tahm Kench’s stomach, he instead spits out a random item component they were holding or the cost of the unit in gold.

Seraphine shines bright

Seraphine, the League of Legends popstar, has finally arrived. In TFT Set 6, Seraphine is a four-cost Socialite, Innovator. Her ability is Encore, which is pretty much her ultimate from the actual League of Legends game.

Seraphine fires out a wave of energy in a line toward the largest clump of enemies. When hit, the line does magic damage and applies an attack speed slow for a duration. Allies that pass through the line are healed and gain attack speed for a duration.

This ability appears to be similar to Nami’s ability from TFT Set 2. However, this one has a much shorter range, whereas Nami covered practically the whole map.

Vex sneaks in

Vex, League of Legends’ newest champion, is also in TFT Set 6. She is a three-cost Yordle, Arcanist. Her ability is Personal Space.

This ability, when activated, gives Vex a huge shield that lasts a few seconds. After the duration, the shield explodes and does damage to enemies in a two hex radius. If the shield was still intact when the duration ends, it does additional damage. Also if the shield does get destroyed, the ability gets stronger for the rest of the combat phase.

Players can check out the rest of the cool champions when the game launches on the live servers in Patch 11.22.
