Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone has seen two separate fully automatic pistols enter the fold. First, the Sykov arrived last month, and now the AMP63 releases at the start of June, 2021. The former is a formidable weapon in Verdansk, being arguably the best pistol. The latter, on the other hand, doesn’t quite have a spot in the battle royale’s meta due to some underwhelming stats.
The AMP63 is a decent weapon in Warzone in terms of general gameplay. However, it falls flat in comparison to other weapons of its kind. Something like the Sykov outshines it on most levels, giving players little reason to use the new pistol. However, with the right loadout, players may be able to make the AMP63 work.
Best AMP63 loadout in Warzone
For a fully auto pistol, this new weapon is truly lacking in the damage department. It takes nearly an entire clip for the AMP63 to down a fully armored enemy in Warzone. This is slightly improved with the recommended loadout but any player using the AMP63 should expect some lengthy gunfights.
That said, the recommended loadout makes use of any and all damage-boosting attachments. This is in conjunction with equipping standard pistol attachments that have become a common sight in Warzone.
- Muzzle: Sound Suppressor
- Barrel: 7.1″ Reinforced Heavy
- Laser: SWAT 5mW Laser Sight
- Stock: Dual Wield
- Ammunition: Salvo 23 Rnd Fast Mag
Veterans of Warzone might notice that the Sound Suppressor is in use over the more popular Agency Suppressor in this AMP63 loadout. This is simply because the Sound Suppressor has less of a damage dropoff than its counterpart. To make up for that damage, the 7.1″ Reinforced Heavy barrel is equipped. The barrel increases damage range while also boosting bullet velocity.
The rest of the loadout is fairly standard for a pistol. Dual Wield is a necessity, as it gives players an extra weapon in their hands to double the potential damage. Since Dual Wield carries no ADS penalty, attachments like the SWAT 5mW Laser and Salvo 23 Rnd Fast Mag can be equipped without any negatives.
This AMP63 loadout won’t break the meta but it does provide a huge improvement over the gun’s base form.
