The best AS44 loadout in Call of Duty: Vanguard

The AS44 is one of the more interesting weapons in the entirety of Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer. It can kill enemies with a few bullets to the chest but players might not be able to control the gun well enough to do so. Thanks to its tremendously high recoil, players haven’t been using the AS44 much since Vanguard launched. However, with the right set of attachments on its loadout, the AS44 can be a deadly assault rifle in Vanguard.

Unlike the STG44 and Automaton, the AS44 needs all the help it can get with its loadout. There are specific attachments, that reduce recoil and improve accuracy, that the gun needs in order to be worth using. With these attachments in place, players can go on a massive killing spree with the AS44 and its high fire rate and damage output.

Best AS44 loadout in Vanguard

The only stat that players will want to increase when designing the AS44’s loadout is recoil control. If players can get the recoil to a manageable place, the rifle can be absolutely lethal on any map in Vanguard multiplayer. Long-range fights might still be difficult but they’ll be easier than if players were using the base gun.

The loadout begins with the F8 Stabilizer and ZAC 650MM Precision barrel to increase recoil control and damage range. The barrel makes the AS44 much more controllable while also adding extra headshot damage in exchange for less body damage.

The ZAC 12B Custom stock and M1941 Hand Stop underbarrel provide even more recoil control, along with some flinch resistance. That stat is further increased with the Polymer Grip, which adds some recoil control during sustained fire as well.

Finally, the AS44 has the Lengthened Ammo Type for more bullet velocity and no magazine attachment. The three options come with too many negatives to make them worth using. Instead, players can use the AS44 without a magazine and the rest of the recommended loadout to kill enemies extremely quickly in Vanguard.
