Ever since it was introduced in Call of Duty: Warzone, the CARV.2 and its loadout haven’t gotten much use. While it’s had terrific potential as a quick-killing Assault Rifle, players have taken advantage of stronger rifles, like the XM4. Its burst-fire nature makes the weapon somewhat difficult to use compared to those stronger ARs. However, thanks to some recent recognition from streamers, the CARV.2 is seeing a resurgence in Warzone.
One of the most prominent Warzone streamers, Aydan “Aydan” Conrad, recently uploaded a video that’s popularized the CARV.2. The video goes over Aydan’s best loadout for the burst AR and also showcases the gun’s potential in Verdansk. While players’ results will vary from that of Aydan’s, giving the loadout a try is becoming increasingly popular in Warzone.
Best CARV.2 loadout in Warzone
The CARV.2 is a classic three-round burst assault rifle that closely resembles the G11 from the original Black Ops. Like the G11, the CARV.2 has a quick fire rate and an extremely high potential damage output. Of course, that potential is based on how many shots the player hits in each burst. To hit more shots, players should mimic Aydan’s top loadout for the AR, which is below.
- Muzzle: Agency Silencer
- Barrel: 18.9″ Titanium
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Magazine: 45 Rnd Drum
This loadout is relatively standard for a burst AR in Warzone. The Agency Silencer and Field Agent Grip provide for some extra recoil control, with the former also boosting damage range. The 18.9″ Titanium is a key cog in the loadout, as it improves the CARV.2’s already fast fire rate.
Rounding out the loadout is the Axial Arms 3x, the best mid-long range scope, and the 45 Rnd Drum for extra magazine capacity. Players only have to worry about hitting 2-3 shots in each burst with this CARV.2 loadout. If they do, they can roll through enemies in Warzone.
