The best Combat Shotgun loadout in Call of Duty: Vanguard

The Combat Shotgun is one of four shotguns in Call of Duty: Vanguard. While the others in the class are great in their own right, it’s difficult to craft a better shotgun loadout for anything other than the Combat Shotgun in Vanguard. It’s the classic pump-shotgun that Call of Duty fans either love or hate, depending on which side of the shotgun a player is on. Despite needing some time to level up, the Combat Shotgun is one of the top weapons in multiplayer.

Compared to other shotguns, the Combat Shotgun is meant moreso for longer-range gunfights. It takes some time to shoot after pressing the trigger, which means players need some space when firing it. However, with the right set of attachments, the Combat Shotgun can be effective in any situation in Vanguard.

Best Combat Shotgun loadout in Vanguard

The best attachments for the shotgun increase overall mobility and damage range. Recoil isn’t a necessary attachment, as players can’t fire it in quick succession. Instead, players will want to focus on ADS/sprint-to-fire speed attachments to make securing kills much easier.

The Vital Proficiency also allows the Combat Shotgun to kill quicker if players are aiming for the upper body.

The rest of the loadout focuses on mobility. The CGC 3M Adjustable stock, Mark V1 Skeletal underbarrel and Leather Grip all increase ADS or sprint-to-fire speed.
