After months of speculation and leaks, the CX-9 submachine gun finally made its way into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Of course, this also means it enters the Warzone weapon pool, which draws most of the publicity from fans. Still, players can unlock the CX-9 in Modern Warfare and use it within multiplayer.
As with any multiplayer weapon, a loadout also accompanies the CX-9. However, as it’s so new, players aren’t sure what attachments they need to put on it as they level it up. Assuming that players can get past the bug that doesn’t allow the leveling of the SMG, there’s already a recommended set of attachments for Modern Warfare’s newest gun.
Best CX-9 loadout in Modern Warfare
For players wondering if their Warzone loadout for the CX-9 will transfer into standard multiplayer, the answer is no. Warzone requires the use of different attachments to ensure that players can withstand longer-range gunfights and stay alive for as long as possible.
With Modern Warfare multiplayer, the same can be said but on a much smaller scale. This means that more traditional attachments must be equipped on the SMG’s loadout, which fans can see below:

The biggest attribute of the CX-9 is its high fire rate. It has the ability to decimate opponents in close-quarters combat. To complement this, the recommended loadout makes use of mobility attachments. This starts with the Tac Laser and CX-FA Stock. ADS and movement speed, along with more stability, are given to the CX-9 as a result of these two attachments.
Also helping with mobility is the Sleight of Hand Perk. Players can reload faster with it equipped and get back into the action much quicker. The 30 Round Mags also assist with this, as players can take on more than one enemy at a time.
Finally, the CX-38S barrel is the jack-of-all-trades attachment that Modern Warfare players know and love. Damage range, bullet velocity and accuracy are all buffed with this barrel. Finally, players are kept off the radar thanks to the built-in suppressor. This CX-9 loadout will be able to dominate any enemy in Modern Warfare as long as they’re in close-range.
