Since the beginning of Call of Duty: Warzone, the Kar98k has been the best option for aggressive, quick-scoping sniper rifle players. Featuring terrific mobility and complementary attachments, there’s a reason that the Kar98k has stuck around in players’ loadouts even after the Black Ops Cold War integration.
While the Kar98k isn’t the greatest at long-range engagements, it can still serve a serviceable role as a true sniper. Of course, a player’s best bet would be to rush around and pop heads at medium-range. The tried and true loadout for the Modern Warfare weapon reflects this but it also gives players flexibility in their playstyle.
Best Kar98k loadout in Warzone
At its core, the Kar98k is a Marksman Rifle with sniper qualities. As such, using it like an AX50 or LW3 Tundra won’t necessarily work. Instead, players need to utilize the Kar’s strengths while equipping some attachments that can help with longer range fights.
However, a majority of the attachments will aid players in downing enemies at short distances. Scoping in quickly and delivering fast shots is the name of the game with the Kar98k.

Nearly every attachment included in this loadout helps with either aiming in quicker or being more accurate at close to medium-range. The Monolithic Suppressor is an exception but it’s one of the most important aspects of the loadout, as it increases range and bullet velocity.
The Singuard Custom 27.6″ barrel and Tac Laser both allow the player to focus on short-distance gunfights. But, they do offer some flexibility if a long-range engagement presents itself. The Variable Zoom Scope also offers the same flexibility. Finally, the FTAC Sport Comb’s increased aim down sight quickness is something that’s key with an aggressive rifle like the Kar98k.
