Despite Call of Duty: Warzone adding more snipers, one of the most popular choices in the category is still the Kar98k. Especially popular with those who enjoy aggressive sniping, the Kar98k has been in Warzone since the game’s inception. In Season 3, not much has changed with the marksman rifle but, nevertheless, players still want to know its best loadout.

The biggest competitor to the Kar is the Swiss K31, which is almost identical to it in appearance. The Swiss was added in Black Ops Cold War and, subsequently, Warzone with Season 3. It is also terrific for aggressive snipers. For players who have experienced the Swiss K31 but still haven’t tried their hand at the Kar98k, this loadout guide should help distinguish which sniper is better.

Best Kar98k loadout in Warzone

While the Kar98k can be classified as a sniper, it’s moreso a rifle that has sniping capabilities. Players who like to get in long-range gunfights with their sniper should stick with the HDR, AX-50 or LW3 Tundra. However, players who don’t like hanging back and prefer getting up in their enemy’s faces have proven to be partial to the Kar98k.

The Kar’s recommended loadout hasn’t been tweaked too much since Warzone was fully integrated with Black Ops Cold War. So, players who have had a loadout for the weapon don’t need to change much.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Singuard Custom 27.6″
  • Optic: Variable Zoom Scope
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Stock: FTAC Sport Comb

Nearly every attachment in this loadout is benefiting the Kar98k’s close to medium-range prowess in some way. The Tac Laser and FTAC Sport Comb both increase aim down sights time, which is hugely helpful when in close range. For an all-around attachment, the Singuard Custom 27.6″ barrel is in place, as it increases damage, range and recoil control.

Rounding out the loadout is the tried and true Monolithic Suppressor. This attachment is found on most Modern Warfare weapons’ loadouts in Warzone. Finally, the Variable Zoom Scope is the optic choice to give players a little more flexibility when aiming. Players will be hard-pressed to find a better, quick-sniping loadout than this one.
