In terms of overall strength, there are a few alpha males in the assault rifle category of Call of Duty: Warzone. The RAM-7, CR-56 AMAX and FFAR are the first weapons that come to mind, as they’ve dominated the meta for the past few seasons. However, there’s been one weapon lurking in the shadows since the beginning: the M13.
As part of the weapon pool since Warzone released, the M13 has always been a steady option for players looking to venture outside of the mainstream meta. It features similar stats to the top ARs and can be just as deadly in the right hands with the correct loadout.
Best M13 loadout in Warzone
While the M13 might possess similar stats to a gun like the CR-56 AMAX, its loadout needs to stand out in some form or fashion. Since the M13 isn’t considered “meta,” there needs to be some overly redeeming quality about its loadout.
To make it a worthwhile choice over the top dogs, the M13’s damage should be prioritized. If not, then it’s another run-of-the-mill rifle that tries to mimic other similar rifles. Of course, along with the increase in damage, the loadout will feature standard attachments to help with recoil control and stability.
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: Tempus Marksman
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
- Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
- Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
The key to this loadout is the Tempus Marksman barrel, which is unique to the M13 in Warzone. Not only does it provide an increase in damage range but it also boosts bullet velocity and recoil control. However, this comes at the cost of a higher ADS time, which is why players will want to stay at medium-range when using this loadout.
Everything else in the loadout is mostly standard. Players can choose the optic they prefer, however the VLK 3.0x is a terrific option for medium to long-range gunfights. While players may not be using a meta weapon, they’ll have as good of a chance in any gunfight using this M13.
