When Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone was released, those with some extra funds in their bank account decided to purchase the Battle Pass tiers necessary to unlock the MG 82. The new light machine gun is unlocked at tier 15, so it costs a decent amount to purchase the tiers. However, most would argue that it’s worth it, as the MG 82 has a loadout that’s destroying Warzone lobbies.

The release of new overpowered weapons is a tradition that’s still alive in Verdansk. The MG 82 is the latest in a long line of fresh guns coming in and immediately shooting up to the top of the meta. As players have watched this unfold in Warzone, they’re asking themselves one question: what’s the best loadout for the MG 82?

Best MG 82 loadout in Warzone

The MG 82 has separated itself from other light machine guns with its near laser-like accuracy. While attachments help the cause, even the base MG shoots incredibly straight, especially when mounted. In conjunction with the gun’s decent range and damage, there’s no better weapon to use in Season 4.

Still, having a top-tier loadout for the MG is necessary to ensure that players maximize their potential with the weapon. The loadout features some high-level attachments, so players might not have access to them for some time. The race to level up the MG 82 is well worth the trouble, though.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 16.4″ Task Force
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: 125 Rnd Mags

The key attachment in the loadout is the 16.4″ Task Force barrel. Raven Software made some changes to the Task Force barrel for Cold War weapons and it’s now easily a top-five attachment in Warzone. With it equipped on the MG 82, the gun’s damage range, recoil and bullet velocity are all increased.

The rest of the loadout isn’t anything outlandish, with every one of the attachments being fairly standard for an LMG. This is perfect for the MG 82, though, as it only needs a few attachments to become the go-to weapon for any player in Season 4.
