As Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 winds down, players are still enthralled by one key aspect of the game: Iron Trials ’84. The hardcore game mode is a taste of what Ranked Play could look like in Warzone. The response to the mode has been terrific thus far. But, of course, players still must choose the optimal weapon. While the choices are plentiful, a popular choice is the MG82 light machine gun, thanks to its recommended loadout.

The MG82 has been through a blender when it comes to weapon balancing. It’s been on top of the meta and at the very bottom at different times. However, after some recent changes, the MG82 is arguably one of the best LMGs in Warzone. Due to its firepower and high fire rate, players are loving it for Iron Trials ’84. Though, those players still need the gun’s best loadout to compete with other players.

Best MG82 loadout in Warzone

The recommended loadout for the MG82 utilizes the standard meta attachments for a long-range weapon in Warzone. There aren’t any surprises on the loadout but players should still see it to ensure they’re using the MG82 to its fullest potential.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 16.4″ Task Force
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: 125 Rnd Mags

The loadout begins with two attachments to increase damage range and up the MG82’s bullet velocity. The Agency Suppressor adds in some extra recoil control and suppressed fire while the Task Force adds the damage range and bullet velocity for a great pairing.

Following those attachments, the loadout is fairly unexciting. The Axial Arms 3x is the best long-range scope, the Field Agent Grip reduces recoil and the 125 Rnd Mags are standards for LMGs. This MG82 loadout will dominate enemies in Warzone and that goes double for Iron Trials ’84.
