In the realm of secondary weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone, there are perhaps none better than submachine guns. While the classic secondaries, like pistols and shotguns, have their uses, SMGs have dominated the category for multiple seasons. Season 4 is no different, and the long-standing Modern Warfare MP5 is still one of the best options to go alongside a loadout’s primary weapon.

From a pure gameplay stance, the Cold War MP5 is likely the better option for a majority of players. Compared to the MW MP5, it features a higher time-to-kill, which is an important statistic in any battle royale. However, the Modern Warfare version boasts better accuracy, which could come in handy for players who aren’t as adept on the sticks.

With the right loadout, the MW MP5 can provide an even deadlier accurate shot in Warzone.

Best MW MP5 loadout in Warzone

When using the MW MP5 in Warzone, players won’t be able to deal as much damage as they would with the Cold War MP5. This is true even after throwing muzzle and barrel attachments on the loadout. As such, the recommended set-up for the MW MP5 doesn’t utilize damage-boosting attachments. Instead, it makes use of recoil reduction and mobility-increasing attachments to turn the SMG into an absolute laser.

  • Barrel: Monolithic Integral Suppressor
  • Laser: 5mW Laser
  • Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 45 Round Mags
  • Stock: FTAC Collapsible

For a slight amount of additional damage, the Monolithic Integral Suppressor is in place. However, it’s moreso in the loadout for its accuracy and bullet velocity buffs. The Merc Foregrip also reduces recoil and improves hip-fire accuracy.

Speaking of firing from the hip, the 5mW Laser boosts this stat as well. Rounding out the loadout, the FTAC Collapsible Stock increases sprint-to-fire time. Also, the 45 Round Mags bump up the magazine size. This MW MP5 loadout might not be as powerful as other SMGs but it won’t miss many bullets in Warzone.
