One of the most iconic weapons in Call of Duty history has made another appearance; this time in Black Ops Cold War. The PPSh-41 has returned for another run around the block and veterans of the series are ecstatic. Of course, those players still need to unlock the weapon through the Season 3 Battle Pass, which either takes and investment in time or money.

Once the PPSh-41 is unlocked, though, it can start leveling up. During this process, players will attempt to find the gun’s best loadout and attachment combinations. Luckily, this loadout has been discovered and it truly makes an impact in Black Ops Cold War.

Best PPSh-41 loadout in Black Ops Cold War

The biggest statistic that the PPSh-41 has going for it is its high fire rate. It can blow through a magazine quickly, meaning that close-range engagements are going to be a players’ best friend when running this SMG.

However, with such a fire rate, other stats are going to suffer. This reigns true with the PPSh-41’s damage and accuracy, both of which aren’t too impressive on the base version. Fortunately, these areas can be improved with the correct attachments, making for a great loadout in the SMG category.

  • Muzzle: KGB Eliminator
  • Barrel: 14.9″ Rifled
  • Underbarrel: Spetznaz Grip
  • Handle: Speed Grip
  • Stock: Raider Stock

The PPSh-41 needs as little stat decreases as possible when it comes to picking attachments. As such, the top loadout for the SMG utilizes attachments that present few downsides.

The gun’s high recoil is reduced significantly by both the KGB Eliminator and Spetsnaz Grip. This will help tremendously with shooting enemies at medium to long-range. To help finish off those enemies quicker, the 14.9″ Rifled barrel increases damage range.

Finally, two attachments round out the loadout and further increase the PPSh-41’s mobility. The Speed Grip boosts ADS time while the Raider Stock increases sprint-to-fire time, making the PPSh-41 even more dangerous up close.
