The Top Break is one of the more interesting weapons in all of Call of Duty: Vanguard. It’s the classic revolver that Call of Duty fans have come to expect to see in each title. However, this particular version comes with a select few attachments that turn it into a mini-sniper rifle. While it’s not an easy loadout to attain, the Top Break becomes an overpowered secondary in Vanguard with it equipped.

Players can unlock the Top Break at level 12 and should immediately start leveling it up if they want to equip its best loadout. The attachments required don’t come at low levels, so players will need to spend some time with the weapon. This is likely an easier task in Hardcore playlists but it’s up to the player in the end. Once players have leveled it up, though, they can start quickscoping enemies in Vanguard.

Best Top Break loadout in Vanguard

The Top Break’s power was initially showcased by YouTuber TheXclusiveAce on Twitter. He posted a short video showing off the weapon’s capabilities. Essentially, he turned the Top Break into a small sniper that’s capable of quickscoping enemies. With that kind of power, players immediately wanted to know the best loadout for the Top Break in Vanguard.

  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: Wilkie W-4 Stub
  • Optic: SVT-60 PU Scope 3-6X or player’s choice
  • Trigger Action: Rapid Action
  • Magazine: .30 Russian Short
  • Ammo Type: Hollow Point
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Quickscope
  • Kit: Quick

While this loadout isn’t great for normal secondary weapon usage, it’s built to be more of a primary weapon. The optic in use is a huge scope but it allows players to take full advantage of the quickscoping ability of the loadout. With the Quickscope Proficiency, Fabric Grip and Rapid Action Trigger Action, players will be able to aim in and shoot extremely quickly with the Top Break.

This is paired with the .30 Russian Short mags, F8 Stabilizer and Wilkie W-4 Stub barrel for the best possible damage range. The last aspect of the loadout is the Hollow Point Ammo Type, which increases limb damage in exchange for damage range. Essentially, players want to aim for the upper torso with this loadout, as it deals more damage there.
