The Type 99 is the second-best sniper rifle currently in Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer. The first place spot goes to the Kar98k by a country mile and the last-place honors go to the 3-Line Rifle, which is in serious need of a buff. That leaves the Type 99 right in the middle with its decent firepower and balanced stats. However, players can turn the Type 99 into a much stronger weapon with its recommended loadout in Vanguard.
Compared to the other snipers in Vanguard, the Type 99 features middle-of-the-road stats. Its mobility is in line with the Kar98k but its firepower falls a little short of the others in the class. Luckily, this stat can easily be increased with the top loadout for the Type 99 in Vanguard multiplayer.
Best Type 99 loadout in Vanguard
With the main focus of the Type 99 loadout being firepower, damage range attachments are plentiful on the attachment list. However, players will also see some attachments to improve recoil control and efficiency at longer-range gunfights. After all, that’s what a sniper rifle is made for in Call of Duty. Still, the Type 99 is also proficient at close-range fights thanks to its high mobility.

For starters, the loadout reduces overall recoil on the Type 99 with the L Brake and Carver Foregrip. Following those attachments is the combination of the Sakura 776MM barrel, 8MM Klauser 5 Round Mags and Vital Proficiency. The pairing of these three attachments provides all of the damage that players will need on the Type 99.
Rounding out the loadout is the Lengthened Ammo Type for extra bullet velocity, the Fabric Grip and Sakura Wire for increased mobility and Deep Breath for any long-range gunfight. This Type 99 loadout is right up there with the Kar98k in Vanguard multiplayer.
