Top teams race towards WoW: Arena World Championship Season 1 Finals

The top eight World of Warcraft Arena World Championship teams are duking it out for a place in the Season 1 Finals.

The top eight World of Warcraft: Arena World Championship teams are duking it out for a place in the Season 1 Finals. A share of the $160,000 prize pool is also on the line. 

These teams include the top eight from both North America and Europe. They are fighting in round-robin matches for a total of four weeks. 

WoW: Arena World Championship North American and European Circuits

On day two of the North American Circuit’s first week, Method, Cloud9 and the Golden Guardians were placed in the top three respectively.

Method’s North American players had a perfect score against their opponents on both days, ending at 6-0. Cloud9 also reached a competitive score of 6-1 by the second day. Meanwhile, the Golden Guardians earned a score of 3-0.

Over in the European Circuit, Skill Capped, Creed adn Tegridy Damp came in first, second and third, respectively. Skill Capped achieved a game record of 6-1, with Creed going 6-2 and Tegridy Damp at 6-4.

Where to watch and what to expect

World of Warcraft: Arena World Championship Circuit tournaments will continue this Saturday.

The live broadcast will begin on March 27 at 1 p.m. EST and fans can watch all the action over on the official World of Warcraft YouTube channel.

After the four weekends of round-robin matches end, the top four teams of each region will have a place in the Season 1 Finals. The teams that place in the top six in the Season 1 Circuit will also be able to compete in the Season 2 Circuit. 

Meanwhile, the bottom two teams of Season 1 will have to fight in the Relegation Cup. The top two teams of each region from this event will receive an invitation to Season 2.

When the Season 1 and 2 Circuits are completed, the best World of Warcraft esports teams will duke it out in the Arena World Championship 2021 Grand Finals.
