Venom skin with Eddie Brock variant coming to Fortnite Item Shop

The wait for Marvel fans is finally coming to an end in Fortnite Season 8, as Venom and his human form, Eddie Brock, are arriving in the Item Shop Thursday night. Venom and his counterpart Carnage already have a Symbiote weapon in Fortnite, so now Season 8 really belongs to the Spider-Man villains. It’s also the second appearance of the actual Venom skin, which was introduced last year with the Marvel Super Series Venom Cup.

Venom and Carnage are both poster skins for the new season of Fortnite. However, up until now, neither had been released in the Item Shop. Fans who earned the Venom skin through the Marvel Super Series have access to the anti-hero’s skin but now Epic Games is introducing his human form. Eddie Brock comes decked out in the attire he donned in the Venom film from 2018. Perhaps not so coincidentally, the next film in the franchise, Venom 2, releases next week on Oct. 1.

Fans can now celebrate the arrival of the next movie installment by purchasing Venom and Eddie Brock in the Fortnite Item Shop.

Venom and Eddie Brock come to Fortnite Season 8

As of the time of writing, Epic Games hasn’t officially announced the skin’s arrival. However, data-miners have uncovered both of the skins and some cover art surrounding them. They’ve also said to confirm that the skins are releasing in tonight’s Item Shop update.

According to the leaks, the Venom skin comes with the built-in Venom Unleashed Emote, meaning players don’t need to buy it separately. The skin also comes with Eddie Brock, his human form. Played by Tom Hardy in the 2018 and 2021 films, Brock looks strikingly similar to his live action appearance.

There’s currently no word on how much these skins will cost in the Fortnite Item Shop. Fans can expect Venom and Eddie Brock to arrive in the shop when it updates at 8:00 p.m. EDT later tonight.
