Welcome back to Showstopper, Upcomer’s weekly VALORANT talk show.

This week, we sat down with Team Secret’s Jayvee “DubsteP” Paguirigan, one of the top VALORANT players in the SEA region. When he and his teammates played under their old organization Bren Esports, they became the Southeast Asia VCT Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs champions and qualified for masters.

DubsteP opened up to hosts Yinsu Collins and Tyler “Fionn” Erzberger about what happened after this victory, as well as why he and Team Secret were unable to compete at Masters Berlin.

He also spoke about how proud he is to not only represent the Philippines on the international VALORANT stage, but the SEA region as a whole. DubsteP gave his thoughts on the international competition that he and the rest of Team Secret will be facing at Champions. He said he believes Vision Strikers to be one of the best teams in the world, even when compared to previous masters winners such as Sentinels and Gambit Esports.

Finally, during this week’s edition of Roast My Tier List, DubsteP ranked how he thinks Team Secret would match up against the other global teams attending Champs, giving his pre-champions team power rankings.
