Roman Dvoryankin, the general manager of Virtus.pro, has given a brief statement regarding byali leaving the organization:

byali[‘s] departure was an agreed upon mutual decision by both sides. Our entire team is grateful to PaweÅ‚, and we wish him only success in the future. It has been a great journey together. We will be ready to announce our new player after the London Major.

byali’s achievements at Virtus.pro

Paweł Bieliński joined Virtus.pro at the young age of 20 and since then has had an immense input into the many achievements of his team. Fulfilling the rifler (entry fragger) role, byali is known for his flashy rifling skills, especially with the AK-47.

His most notable achievement while being in the active roster of Virtus.pro must be a victory at ESL Major Series One Katowice 2014. Vp managed to edge out Ninjas in Pyjamas in their very own era, with Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund being one of the best players at the time. Moreover, in 2014 byali was awarded as #13 in hltv’s top 20 players of the year.

Apart from winning the Major, byali and his teammates managed to win ELEAGUE Season 1, beating the talented fnatic 2:0, back in 2016.

A major upset however, came about in 2017 during the ELEAGUE Major: Atlanta 2017. Virtus.pro were facing Astralis in the final and lacked the edge to close out the game on the decider map, Train, losing the series 2:1. It was a huge disappointment for Vp fans around the world. Nevertheless, Virtus.pro still looked solid with byali fulfilling his role as ever.

What does the future hold for byali?

The biggest question remains. Where will the 24-year-old go next? With his caliber, a spot in one of the major teams in the world must be considered. However, how will byali react to overcoming language barriers? Is he willing to switch to an all-English communication team? Or perhaps byali will consider joining one of the Polish teams such as Kinguin or AGO Esports?

Whatever his choice, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the talented rifler.

Meanwhile, a spot has opened in the Virtus.pro lineup. It is currently unknown who will replace the rifling role after the FACEIT Major.

As for now, the Virtus.pro roster looks as so:

  • Filip “NEO” Kubski
  • JarosÅ‚aw “pashaBiceps” JarzÄ…bkowski
  • MichaÅ‚ “MICHU” Müller
  • MichaÅ‚ “snatchie” Rudzki
  • Jakub “kuben” Gurczynski (as coach)
