Warriors Gaming Squad joins in NBA 2KL Three For All Showdown

The Warriors Gaming Squad will be participating in the NBA 2KL Three For All Showdown starting March 27. The Golden State Warriors’ esports team is scheduled to duke it out against social media influencers, top women NBA 2K players, and teams organized by fans. A $25,000 prize pool is on the line.

Warriors in the NBA 2KL Three For All Showdown

There will be three stages to the showdown. Between March 27-29, 32 fan-organized teams will play against each other in best-of-three rounds in the Xbox and PlayStation brackets. As for the next stage, the best NBA 2K women players, league players, social media influencers, and stage one’s top teams will face each other.

Players Alex “Bsmoove” Reese, Jin “Jin” Choe, and Matt “Matty” Grant will compete for the Warriors Gaming Squad in the PlayStation bracket. Meanwhile, Charlie “CB13” Bostwick, Sam “Gradient” Salyers, and Malik “Slaughter” Leisinger will be in the Xbox one. This stage will take place between March 31 and April 3. The final rounds for each bracket will then be fought out in intense best-of-five games.

The goal of the NBA 2KL Three for All Showdown is for esports fans to engage with their community amidst the COVID-19 situation. Since the NBA 2K event will be held online, it will help with championing social distancing practices. To further help fans and players protect themselves from COVID-19, the tournament announcement advised the community to visit the NBA Cares website for health and safety tips.

Esports players who want to participate in the event can sign up for it starting on March 23. Although the tournament rules have yet to be posted, the page encourages interested participants to check back soon.

For those who want to watch all the action from the safety of their home, they can visit the NBA 2K League’s official YouTube channel. The tournament will also be livestreamed over on Twitch, where supporters can cheer the Warriors Gaming Squad on.
