The Legendary Quests in Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 7 Week 12 are going live tomorrow, August 25. Like every week, data-miners have dug into the files and discovered what the challenge sets will hold for the upcoming week. One task involves players searching for books on explosions.
The Season 8 event is coming up in short order and players are curious to see if this challenge is at all related to the end of Season 7. Challenges have been a mishmash throughout the season, so it’s difficult to say whether or not that will be the case.
Search for books on explosions in Fortnite
There are two books on explosions to search for in Week 12 of Fortnite. Both are near each other, which means players can get this challenge done in one match. It can take as many matches as the player needs, just as long as both books are found.
Below, players can see the two locations of the explosion books in Fortnite.
- Dirty Docks: In front of the dumpster in the container yard near the center of the POI
- Steamy Stacks: Inside of the gray and orange building at the end of the zipline, under the stairs.
Steamy Stacks and Dirty Docks are both named locations on the far right side of the map, so players shouldn’t run into much resistance at either. Once players have found both of the books, this challenge is complete and players can then move onto a different Legendary Quest in Week 12. This challenge rewards the player with 30,000 XP for their Season 7 Battle Pass.
